Ryan Nassichuk is a handsome young horticulturist who lives and works on Quadra Island, British Columbia. Born and raised in North Vancouver, he fled the city to start a seed company with his sweet sugarmuffin, Jessica, who is also a horticulturist (Ryan and Jessica met at plant school, and are a very cute couple). The seed company exists in the sense that Ryan and Jessica have jars and jars of seeds to sell, though a formal catalogue and website probably won’t be available until early to mid 2011, as starting a seed company is difficult. Ryan gives talks and workshops from time to time, and is always glad to present to anyone who will listen, particularly if he is paid to do so. He is interested in plant-related collaborations of all sorts, and loves to get e-mails from people he hasn’t met.
