There is so much going on here lately. I’d like to write all about how I haven’t blogged much lately because of the beautiful weather and because Jessica and I adopted a daughter and because my cat had twins and all that sort of thing, but nobody wants to hear any of that boring nonsense, none of it is true (except for the bit about the adoption), and it hasn’t even been that long since my last post. What I will write about is drainage. Our wet field underwent a very invasive procedure this morning. Doug Peters, who is delightful, installed a drain along 120 feet of the field. None of us expect it to solve the problem, but it will probably help, and even if it doesn’t, I really enjoyed learning about lazer surveying and water movement and how much earth an excavator can move. It truly is a glorious time to be alive.
